Choose Suitable Cardboard Box
Choose thick and hard cardboard boxes with firm structure according to cat body size. Too thin cartons are easy to deform and collapse, unable to ensure stable use effect. Single medium carton suits single cat, while large-size carton can meet simultaneous rest needs of multiple cats.
Safe Box Cutting Transformation
Trim and cut the carton reasonably. Cut smooth circular or oval access holes on the box side for cats to enter and exit freely, and polish sharp paper edges to avoid scratching cat skin and fur. Drill several tiny ventilation holes on other sides to keep internal air circulation and prevent stuffy feeling inside the closed space.
Improve Internal Rest Comfort
Lay soft warm cushions inside the carton to promote comfort. Clean old towels, pet sleeping mats and plush cushions are all perfect inner fillers, making the cold cardboard box warm and comfortable for cats to lie down. Put a little catnip inside to attract cats to take the initiative to use this handmade hideaway.
Simple Decoration & Daily Use
Simple environmental friendly decoration can be done properly. Paste mild color stickers or draw cute simple patterns on the box surface, never use pungent glue and strong smell paint. Carton cat hideaways are easy to replace and clean, low-cost and practical, very popular with most sensitive cats.
